In September 2025, during Art Week Berlin, we installed the exhibition Humans in Transit, curated by Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) at Refuge Worldwide. The exhibition presents 400 stories of migration collected in Libya and aboard search and rescue vessels in the Mediterranean Sea. Each testimony and portrait, while anonymous, represents a person who has endured abuse during their journey in search of safety. The stories and faces are brought to life through illustrations by Ngadi Smart, Barly Tshibanda, Souad Kokash and Tawab Safi.

I designed the exhibition to be portable and adaptable so these stories and artworks can be easily shared in other contexts.
